Bastille – Laughter Lines

Night #2 in a row of falling asleep to Bastille šŸ™‚ It just makes me smile.
I love the beginning of this song; the way it starts and then builds in a kind of eerie synth…
“I’ll see you in the future, when we’re older…And we are full of stories to be told. Cross my heart, and hope to die, I’ll see you, with your laughter lines.”
It makes me think…of the uncertainties of our futures, every day; Marth and I. It’s a confidence, that says, “I’ll see you. We’ll still be together. There’ll be so many good memories. I promise…we’ll have laughed, and our faces will show it.”
How wonderful to think about. ā¤
Enjoy, and rest well, my friends.
